Reflective Printing & Reflective

Glass-bead ink that returns light to its source — also supplied as film and sewn tape for trims and seams.

Reflective printing is a screen-printed ink loaded with tiny glass beads. In daylight it reads as a flat silver-grey print; under a light source it bounces the beam straight back, which is why it is standard on running and workwear.

The same beads are supplied as heat-transfer film and as sewn tape, so one style can combine a printed graphic with a taped seam or a piped edge. Fine lines and small text read far better than large solid areas, and a dark base fabric keeps the contrast strong when the print is not being lit.
